We have been developing and validating our idea, as well as trying to get financial support and investment.
Scientific Broadcasts is announced, and the Early Development of the Scientific Broadcasts Studio starts (with funding by the PAC Emprendedores 2022 project of the Argentine Ministry of Production).
The Scientific Broadcasts Studio (SBS) is the platform that will allow the development and production of your scicasts. Think of it like the submission system of a traditional scientific journal adapted to the needs of audiovisual scientific content.
As Scientific Broadcasts will grow, the SBS will incorporate tools, services and functions. We envision a Studio that will allow the entire development of scicasts, from the initial idea to final publication. One platform to do everything: write your videoscript, film it and edit it, and prepare it for publication.
If you are inspired by our idea and project please make sure to reach out. We are looking for the first 100 scinematographers, those early adopters who will help us shape the community of Scientific Broadcasts.
There is room and a role for everyone: from simple Content Creators to Studio Producers, from Developers to Partners. Declare your interest and join us!
The first-100 to release their scicasts in Scientific Broadcasts will get a lifetime Premium subscription for free.
We will invite the first 100 subscribers of Scientific Broadcasts, who will commit to produce the first scicasts. These first-100 will also be the main people behind the development of the Scientific Broadcasts Studio and the creation of the different Channels of the platform.
We will devote most of the 2023 to produce the scicasts with the first-100, as well as in the development of the first version of the Scientific Broadcasts Studio and Scientific Broadcasts Platform.
Approximately one year after the announcement we plan to officially launch Scientific Broadcasts, and release the first scicasts.
When we have at least 3-5 scicasts per main scientific discipline (e.g., in Paleontology), we will start dividing Scientific Broadcasts into different, discipline-specific Channels. We estimate that this will start happening around the same time when the first 1000 scicasts will be released. We except and hope that these Channels will be created around our first Scinematographers. From that point onwards each Channel should follow its own, independent, scientific path.
